Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

PrimePhysX is a physics and mathematics coaching institute run by Deepraj Banik. This policy explains what personal data our online portal (primephysx.com) collects, why, who can see it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at primephysx@gmail.com.

Students under 18

Most of our students are school students under 18. A student should use the portal only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, who can contact us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's data (see Your rights). We do not use students' data for advertising, and we never sell it.

What we collect

  • From your Google account, when you sign in: your name, email address and profile photo. We never see or store your Google password.
  • Profile details you choose to add: your class, phone number, town, state and country. These are optional, and you can change your display name.
  • Your activity on the portal: the exams you start and submit, your answers, scores, start and submit times, practice questions you attempt and solve, points earned, and which course videos you mark as done.
  • Batch membership: which groups (batches) your tutor has added you to.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not collect your location, contacts or device details.

Why we use it

  • To sign you in and show you the exams, courses and study materials meant for your batch.
  • To run exams fairly: timing, auto-submission, scoring and results.
  • To award practice points and rank students on leaderboards.
  • So your tutor can follow your progress and contact you or your parents about your studies.
  • To discourage leaks of course material: study PDFs are shown with your name and email watermarked on every page.

Who can see your data

  • Your tutor and the institute's admins can see everything listed above, including your profile details and every exam answer.
  • Other students can see your display name and profile photo on leaderboards, together with your points, and your score, time taken and rank in exams and contests they also took. They cannot see your email, phone number, location or individual answers.
  • The public(people who aren't signed in) sees no personal data. The home page shows only an approximate total number of students.

Services we rely on

We don't sell or rent your data. To run the portal we use a few service providers, who process data only on our behalf:

  • Google, for signing in.
  • Supabase, which hosts our database and file storage (in its Mumbai, India region).
  • Vercel, which hosts the website (in its Mumbai, India region).
  • YouTube, for course videos. Videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube does not set cookies until you press play; once you do, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that video.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

Cookies and storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and results while you are a student with us, so you can review past exams and progress. When you or your parent asks us to delete your account, we delete your profile and personal details, and remove your name from leaderboards and results.

Your rights

You, or your parent or guardian, can ask us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your account. Email primephysx@gmail.com or call +91 60093 11731 from the email address or phone number we have for you, and we will respond within 30 days. You can change your display name and profile details yourself on your Profile page at any time.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections, study material files are stored privately and shown only through short-lived links, and only signed-in users in the right batch can open exams, courses or materials. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell students on the portal about any important change.
